A technical partner for Romanian manufacturing
Since 2010, Mepro Utilaje has helped metalworking companies select, install and operate CNC machine tools suited to their process. We combine an international portfolio with local consulting, in-house service and spare parts at our Prejmer technical centre.
History
Our journey, year by year
2010
The company starts out and begins its activity in Romania with only two employees.
2011
MEPRO becomes the exclusive supplier of Victor Taichung machines in Romania.
2012
Driven by strong market demand, we start training a service team dedicated to maintaining the installed equipment.
2013
We expand: the team builds its own 2,500 sqm showroom and grows the staff.
2014
We inaugurate the new headquarters in Prejmer, Brașov county, and add the Japanese brands OKK and Takisawa to our range.
2015
Thanks to the growing machine volume, we become the exclusive supplier for Takisawa, Cosen and later You Ji.
2016
The service team upgrades its skills for the new generation of machines from our suppliers.
2017
As proof of our service quality and high demand, the team grows to 25 members.
2018
Machine sales, later installed at our customers, reach a record number.
2019
A year of new suppliers: we become the exclusive supplier for FPT Italy, Kitamura Japan, Mylas Taiwan and Chmer Taiwan.
2020
We become the exclusive supplier for Bodor, based in China.
2021
We also become the exclusive supplier for Robojob in Belgium.
2022
A well-known Chinese manufacturer joins us: Neway.
2023
We acquired a new hall for the machine exhibition and hosted the largest Open House for the Romanian machining industry.
