Since 1969 FPT Industrie has built very large CNC milling and boring machines — travelling column machines, gantries, boring machines and vertical lathes — for energy, aerospace, naval, railway, oil and gas, earthmoving and defense. Structures are cast in special iron and optimised by finite element analysis, and the universal milling heads change automatically.
